LANSING, Mich. — Michigan Veteran Homes D.J. Jacobetti (MVHDJJ) will hold their 20th Annual Veteran Fish Fry on Friday, July 25 from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. in the back parking lot of the home at 425 Fisher St., Marquette. For the last 20 years, an anonymous donor has provided the Lake Superior Whitefish for the fry while the Alger County Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 237 and American Legion Post 131 volunteers will cook the fish. Live music will be provided by the Munising City Band.

Together, we're honoring those who served by creating moments of joy, tradition and togetherness.”

LANSING, Mich. — Michigan Veteran Homes at Chesterfield Township (MVHCT) will hold their 4th Annual Heroic Veterans Walk, Run & Roll 5K and 0.5-Mile Walk on Saturday, June 7 on the campus of the Home at 47901 Sugarbush Rd., Chesterfield Township. The 0.5-Mile Walk will begin at 9 a.m. and the 5K will begin at 10:15 a.m. Following the event, community members, staff, volunteers and families are invited to join the Home for a hot dog luncheon.
