Michigan Veteran Homes at Chesterfield Township to Celebrate Volunteers at Appreciation Banquet

LANSING, Mich. — Michigan Veteran Homes at Chesterfield Township (MVHCT) is honored to be celebrating its volunteers during a Volunteer Appreciation Banquet on September 26 from 5-6:30 p.m. at 47901 Sugarbush Rd., Chesterfield Township, MI 48047. This year’s theme is "Community Superheroes Unite, Moving from Ordinary to Extraordinary", which honors and acknowledges the efforts by volunteers to bring humble attitudes, steadfast service and extraordinary support to veteran members at MVHCT. 

The banquet will include remarks by State Senator Kevin Hertel; Macomb County Commissioner Phil Kraft; Chesterfield Township Supervisor Brad Kersten; Jennifer Manning, administrator for MVHCT; Maxine Butler, volunteer coordinator for MVHCT; Samantha Razminas, activities director for MVHCT; and Byron “Kip” Brand, a retired Air Force veteran and resident member of MVHCT. There will be a special member and staff video expressing gratitude for the more than 100 volunteers that support veteran members throughout the year.
