Important - system issue affects View Election Status screen

Michigan Office of Retirement Services sent this bulletin at 06/13/2024 at 03:20 PM EDT

ORS has identified a system issue. Some employees who are new to MPSERS are not showing up on the list of New Members Who Have Made Their Election on the View Election Status page of the Employer Reporting website.
 
The issue appears to be affecting only those employees who did not make an election during their election window and have defaulted.

These employees will show up on the Member Benefit Plans screen or on the Download Detail.
For employees who default into the DC plan, you will still need to make DTL4 adjustments.
ORS will notify you when the issue is fixed. If you have questions, you may contact ORS_Web_Reporting@michigan.gov.
