Create an account to access the MI Student Aid Scholarships and Grants (MiSSG) Student Portal account to:
When you first log into the MiSSG Student Portal you will see your dashboard that provides an overview of important information.
This includes your State Aid Summary, FAFSA Status, Current Institution, and Contact Information.
If the Current Institution or Contact Information is incorrect, select Update and provide the correct information.
Select My State Awards to view a list of some of the scholarships that are offered through the State of Michigan and whether you are currently eligible to receive them or not. Use the aid year drop-down to view different year information.
While some State of Michigan scholarships are awarded to students after they complete the FAFSA, there are some additional scholarships students can apply for that require a separate application.
Scroll down to view the scholarships and review the requirements to see if you might qualify. If you find one you would like to apply for, complete an application.
