LANSING, Mich. — Michigan Veteran Homes at Chesterfield Township (MVHCT) will hold a special ceremony on July 25 at 2 p.m. for Rosie the Riveter, U.S. Navy Veteran and Veteran Member of MVHCT Frances “Fran” Metcalf who is celebrating her 100th Birthday.
Special guests will include Brad Kersten, township supervisor for Chesterfield Township; Mark Hackel, county executive for Macomb County; Emily Mellits, deputy director of community engagement for Governor Whitmer; Phil Kraft, county commissioner for the Macomb County Board of Commissioners; and Kathy Vosburg, township trustee for Chesterfield Township.
