- Up to $300,000 for the approved strategies and activities to increase enrollment of Reconnect applicants and potential applicants.

Application Windows
Reconnect Enroll with Momentum Grant Applications are due on Friday, February 27, 2026.
- The Reconnect Enroll with Momentum Grant Application document must be used to apply this grant cycle. (Grants portal is not being used).
- Reconnect Enroll with Momentum Grant Applications must be submitted via email using the Application Form to MiLEAP-OHE-GrantsApply@michigan.gov.
Pre-review deadline is Friday, January 16, 2026.
- Applicants who would like to receive feedback on a preliminary version of their proposal are invited to submit it to MiLEAP-Sixtyby30-Grants@michigan.gov. by the deadline.

Reconnect Enroll with Momentum Grants
Recognizing that adult learners beginning college for the first time or returning to college several years after leaving postsecondary education without earning a degree face unique obstacles to enrollment in postsecondary education, the Reconnect Enroll with Momentum grants are designed for community and tribal colleges to identify current barriers to adult enrollment, and propose strategies and activities to resolve those barriers and increase adult enrollment (and ultimately persistence and completion), with an emphasis on Reconnect applicants.
Per boilerplate, it is a requirement of these grants that there is partnership with county government(s). For the purposes of this grant, county governments may include the formal county administration, or another quasi-governmental body such as a local Workforce Development Board or Economic Development Corporation that has at least a county-wide footprint.
