Based on the Michigan Supreme Court’s June 2, 2023, order, the Normal Salary Increase (NSI) schedules described below will no longer be used after fiscal year 2020.
The schedules determine the amount of compensation that is reportable when superintendents (Employment Class Code 1110 – Superintendent), assistant superintendents (Class Code 1120 – Assistant Superintendent) or administrative assistants (Class Code 1130 – Administrative Assistant) receive annual salary increases. Any compensation in excess of the normal salary increase (NSI) schedule is not reportable.
