    Three plans, one purpose.

    MET offers three different plans to help you make the most of your tuition savings. You can purchase one plan or you can mix and match options to help meet your savings goals.

    The three prepaid tuition plans offered are: Community College Plan, Limited Benefits Plan, and Full Benefits Plan.

  • Full Benefits

    The Full Benefits Plan Contract provides:

    • In-state tuition and mandatory fees at any Michigan public university, or in-district or out-of-district tuition and mandatory fees at Michigan public community colleges
    • Up to 15 credit hours for each semester purchased at the Beneficiary's Michigan public college or university
    • Individuals may purchase in credit hour increments up to 150 credit hours (using Pay-As-You-Go) or semester increments (lump sum/monthly payment up to 10 semesters (5 years))

    The Limited Benefits Plan Contract provides:

    • In-state tuition and mandatory fees at Michigan public universities or in-district or out-of-district tuition and mandatory fees at Michigan public community colleges at Michigan public universities or community colleges whose tuition does not exceed 105 percent of the weighted average tuition of all Michigan public four-year universities
    • Individuals may purchase in credit hour increments up to 150 credit hours (using Pay-As-You-Go) or semester increments (lump sum/monthly payment) up to10 semesters (5 years)

Community College

  • Community College Plan

    The Community College Plan Contract provides:

    • In-district tuition and mandatory fees at any Michigan public community college
    • An individual may purchase in credit hour increments (using Pay-As-You-Go), or semesters increments (lump sum/monthly payment). Individuals may purchase up to five years (150 credit hours) of tuition under these contracts.
    • A Beneficiary may have multiple types of contracts but may not accumulate more than 150 credit hours (five years) of MET educational benefits.
