Camps Licensing Renewal

You have determined that you must renew your camp PROGRAM and/or SITE license.  During your Renewal Year, you are required to complete and submit renewal application(s) for your licenses and pay applicable fees.  Below you will find the Renewal Year Check list.   

  Complete and Submit the Renewal Applications (PROGRAM and/or SITE) to the licensing department. All license fees are nonrefundable. Make check or money order payable to the STATE OF MICHIGAN.

 Complete and submit the Environmental Health Inspection Request form to your Local Health Department with appropriate inspection fee.

Review your Fire Safety Inspection to determine that it has been completed within the past two years.A licensee must have a Qualified Fire Inspection (QFI) completed within the past two years for a SITE license renewal. For more information on how to schedule your biennial QFI see link below:

 Change of Leadership? If your camp has a change of licensee, director, program director, or camp administrator. Contact your Licensing Consultant to request a “licensing Record Clearance” Form (BCAL 1326) with the RI-030 fingerprint form.
