CEPI maintains Michigan's database of educational entity information, the Educational Entity Master. Entity data are used for mandated data submissions to the state and federal government and are critical to meeting the requirements of the Every Student Succeeds Act, as well as other state and federal mandates. EEM data are also required for access to state and federal grants, such as through the Michigan Department of Education's Michigan Electronic Grants System.
EEM data are the foundation of all educational data in the State of Michigan. Submission to other CEPI applications is not possible without EEM data.
