Beverly Hills Department of Public Safety is currently accepting applications to fill two immediate vacancies for the position of Public Safety Officer in the Village of Beverly Hills.
A candidate must have the abilities to perform all the duties of a Public Safety Officer which includes both that of a Police Officer and a Firefighter. All applicants must satisfactorily pass oral interviews, a physical exam with drug test, a psychological exam, and a thorough background investigation to be considered for employment. The starting salary is $72,338 with a top pay of $94,819 in four years, plus a benefits package. We also offer 14 paid holidays and longevity pay.
The work Schedule will include 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Applicants must have a minimum of 60 credit hours from an accredited college, or a combination of relatable work experience. Must be licensed or licensable as a Police Officer in the State of Michigan. Preference will be given to applicants with both Police and Fire certifications.
