The Adrian Charter Township Police Department is accepting applications for part-time Police Officer positions within the department. Adrian Charter Township, located in Lenawee County, is approximately 35 square miles with a population of approximately 6,400 residents. We are seeking experienced, self-motivated, and dedicated officers to join our team.
Part-time officers work up to 24 hours per week and will have a flexible schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- United States Citizen.
- Must have reached 21 years of age at the time of employment.
- No felony convictions and/or disqualifying criminal history.
- Possess a valid Michigan driver’s license
- Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES) certified or certifiable by time of appointment.
- Minimum of two years of prior experience as a sworn police officer.
- Undergo a comprehensive background check.
- Pass medical, fitness, drug and psychological exams as administered by the employer's contracted agents.
- Ability to perform the essential job functions of a police officer.
