If you are enrolled in the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan health insurance plan, you may want to set aside some time to visit the online Retiree Healthcare Plan Seminar to view a series of recorded presentations and coverage documents. The information will be available from Oct. 8 through Dec. 20.
We’re also adding another HMO option. Beginning on Jan. 1, 2025, retirees will be able to enroll in the Health Alliance Plan (HAP) HMO. To see a side-by-side comparison of different coverage levels, please see the Insurance Options Summary (R0379C). Health Alliance Plan will be a new plan offering in certain Michigan counties.
