Summer Reading Road Trip

Summer Reading Road Trip Stop 1 Poster

Are you ready for a road trip?

A Pure Michigan summer is here, and this year the Office of the Governor is launching the first‑ever Summer Reading Road Trip. This statewide initiative encourages students to stay engaged with reading and writing throughout the summer months.

Beginning June 24, PreK–12 students across Michigan are invited to participate in a series of reading and writing challenges. Each challenge is designed to keep students learning, spark creativity, and make reading fun. Students who participate will be eligible for prizes, including 10 custom prize bags.
