Employee Service Program (ESP)
The Employee Service Program understands that the recent tragic examples of police brutality, in addition to the pain and stress of the COVID-19 pandemic, can significantly and negatively impact employees’ mental and physical health. Please know that ESP is available to listen, support, and assist all employees during this time.
State of Michigan employees and their eligible family members may call ESP at 1-800-521-1377 to talk confidentially with a counselor or request to schedule a video meeting with an ESP Counselor at MCSC-ESP@michigan.gov.
ESP has created webinars that provide strategies, tools, and resources for coping during this time, listed and described at COVID-19 Stress Management Webinars. Managers can contact ESP by phone or at MCSC-ESP@michigan.gov to request a webinar for their group.
