Request for Expungement Administrative Review

In response to amendments to the Child Protection Law, effective November 1, 2022, Child Care Licensing Bureau will complete expungement administrative reviews of former child care organization applicants or licensees who were placed on central registry prior to November 1, 2022, but were expunged from central registry after November 1, 2022. Eligible persons will need to submit documentation from the Department of Health and Human Services showing that they are no longer listed on the central registry along with the expungement administrative request form. In response to amendments to the Child Protection Law, effective November 1, 2022, a child care staff member, adult member of the household, or a person who had been determined to be ineligible to be associated with a child care facility because of a central registry placement prior to November 1, 2022, but is no longer listed on the central registry after November 1, 2022, may submit for a child care background check clearance to review their ability to be connected to a child care facility. Eligible persons will need to submit documentation from the Department of Health and Human Services showing that they are no longer listed on the central registry.
