Terry J. Sabo, of Muskegon, is an Air Force Veteran and previously served as a deputy director at the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs and is a member of the Muskegon County Veterans Advisory Board.
Sabo served three terms in the Michigan House of Representatives from 2017 to 2022, was a Muskegon County Commissioner for 2 terms and a Muskegon County Road Commissioner for two years. Prior to his work with the state, Sabo was a police officer and fire fighter for 25 years.
He is married to Denise, and they have 4 children and 10 grandchildren and strongly believes in civic service through his membership and involvement in his community’s American Legion, VFW, Lions International and Optimist International organizations.
