For Medical Providers
If you are a medical provider seeking understanding of veterans within your practice, we encourage you to reach out to our Health and Welfare Analyst for more information on our educational training opportunities and how to become a "Veteran Connector" at MVAAStrategy@michigan.gov.
We also encourage all providers to complete the following steps:
- Encourage incorporation on your intake forms: "Have you or someone in your household serviced in the military?" If yes, "Is there anything you would like us to know about this?"
- Display our "Veteran Connector" signage within your offices that includes information on how veterans can ensure they are connected to all benefits.
