Veteran Engagement Officers assist with the development and sustainment of a regional service delivery model that ensures an ease of access to federal and state benefits, as well as alternative community service providers for veterans and their family members. They identify resources and link them into the regional network of veteran centric resources. Our VEOs are our lead regional advocates increasing the awareness of available resources and the utilization of federal benefits and health care to veterans and/or their families.
There are VEOs located in each of Michigan’s prosperity regions.
