MVAA has created a Veteran-Friendly Employer program to recognize the efforts of companies that hire and retain veterans in their workforce. These Gold-, Silver- and Bronze-level employers recognize the value of hiring veterans and meet specified criteria distinguishing them as Veteran-Friendly. Applicants who identify themselves as veterans in their online profiles receive "veteran preference" on the website, which includes 24-hour advance notice of job postings before they are visible to the general public.
