    • GI Bill Benefit Questions

Information about GI Bill® benefits can be obtained in several ways. On the Ask A Question site, you can create a login, email a question and get an answer in four to five working days. You can also search for answers to frequently asked questions and register to be notified of any updates to the information. In addition, you can call 888-GIBILL-1 (888-442-4551).

    • GI Bill Feedback System

This online reporting system allows veterans, service members and eligible dependents to report negative experiences with educational institutions. The VA serves as the intermediary to resolve complaints between the student and school. Submitted complaints may be reviewed by state and federal law enforcement agencies including the Department of Justice.

    • Principles of Excellence

To ensure student veterans, service members and eligible dependents have information, support and protection while using federal education benefits, the Principles of Excellence were established through Executive Order 13607. Compliance with this program is intended to ensure an institution:

Provides meaningful information to student veterans about the financial cost and quality of the institution.

Assists students in making choices about how to use their federal educational benefits.

Prevents abusive and deceptive recruiting practices that target the recipients of military and veterans educational benefits.

Ensures the institution provides high-quality academic and student support services.

Use the GI Bill® Comparison Tool to determine if a school is a participant in this program.
