Detroit Volunteers Needed for the 100th America's Thanksgiving Parade

The Parade Company is seeking veterans to carry the American flag in this year’s 100th annual America’s Thanksgiving Parade presented by Gardner White on Nov. 26!! 

Here's what you need to know:

  • Time Commitment: Approximately 7:00 AM to Noon on Thursday, November 26th.
  • Physical Requirement: You'll need to be able to walk three miles while carrying the flag.
  • Attire: The Parade Company provides a navy jacket featuring the American flag to new volunteers to keep. Returning volunteers are asked to wear their jacket from last year, along with their own black pants and comfortable shoes.

When you sign up, please make sure to indicate if you are a returning marcher and if so - let us know if you still have your jacket from last year.

After submitting, you will get a confirmation email with next steps on or before October 1.
