LANSING, Mich. – Award nominations are now open for the 2026 Michigan Military & Veterans Gala. Scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Elevate at One Campus Martius in Detroit, the Gala will bring together Michigan’s military and veteran community, partners, supporters and leaders for an evening of recognition and celebration.
The deadline for Gala award nominations is Wednesday, Sept. 30. The categories that are currently open for nominations are:
Gala tickets are $50 and can be purchased at the 2026 Gala registration website.
The 2026 Michigan Military & Veterans Gala is presented by the National Guard Association of Michigan in partnership with the Michigan Department of Military and Veterans Affairs and the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency.
Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency – The MVAA is the central coordinating agency, providing support, care, advocacy and service to veterans and their families. As a state agency, the MVAA works to identify and break down barriers veterans face in employment, education, health care and quality of life, to make Michigan a great place for veterans and their families to call home.
