The Consumer Protection (CP) team helps protect Michigan residents from bad actors trying to trick you out of your money. As technology advances so do their creative tactics.
The CP team’s job to is to enforce state consumer protection laws. They review deceptive business practices. They investigate mortgage fraud. And they review price gouging and other consumer-related matters.
