Our offerings are designed to support your professional growth, enhance program quality, and ensure you stay informed on current best practices and licensing requirements.
Child Care Centers
If you operate a child care center, orientation is available several times a year. If you would like to attend an orientation session, please call our main line at 517-284-9730 or contact your licensing consultant for availability information.
The slides and video resources for new center rules training are now available.
Child Care Homes
If you are applying for a license to provide in-home child care, orientation is mandatory. You will be scheduled for orientation after you have submitted a complete application.
New Rules Training for Child Care Home Providers
To complete the new rules training for child care home providers, please email rubleyk1@michigan.gov. You will receive a link to complete the training in MiRegistry. After completing the training and assessment of learning, you will earn 2 clock hours towards your required professional development hours. Due to the high demand of online training and testing requests, the process is currently taking 2-3 business days to send access codes to requestors. To help speed up the process, please send only one request for access codes.
