The Michigan Office of Education Partnerships (OEP) — within the Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential (MiLEAP) — strengthens connections between families, educators, schools and communities to expand learning opportunities and improve outcomes throughout the state from birth through postsecondary education.
Impact Highlights
- Families as Partners — Statewide family‑engagement partnerships strengthened, with 1.09M+ family connections reported.
- Learning Beyond the School Day — Expanded before‑/after‑school learning and summer access, serving 108,966 children/youth across 69 counties.
- Safe Places & Workforce Pathways — Supported safe licensed learning environments (1,000 active licenses) and advanced education workforce pathways with 151 CTE programs and 160%+ growth since 2019–20.
