GSRP Evaluation Grant Application
The Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential (MiLEAP) is excited to announce the release of the GSRP Evaluation Grant. MiLEAP is seeking partners to conduct a longitudinal evaluation of the effects of GSRP through third grade including programs and services prior to GSRP. The GSRP Evaluation Grant will support a statewide effort to ensure that, both locally and state-wide, children’s PreK programs are assessed for effective implementation that impacts the success of the children as they enter school and for their future.
Who Should Apply?
An eligible applicant for the Great Start Readiness Program Evaluation Grant is any public or private for-profit or nonprofit legal entity or agency that is in accordance with section 32d of the State School Aid Act, including all subsections.
Applicants must demonstrate an understanding of developmentally appropriate early childhood programs and appropriate assessment of young children. Priority will be given to applicants who can demonstrate previous experience in the evaluation of programs for PreK children and their families.

Applications must be received at MiLEAP by Friday, October 17, 2025 at 5:00 pm EDT in PDF format with all pages attached in a single email to MiLEAP-GSRP@michigan.gov.
