Brandy Walkington, Strategic Outreach Manager
Brandy Walkington is excited to return to the MVAA as strategic outreach manager after serving as the West Michigan regional coordinator for the agency from 2016-2020. Most recently, Brandy served as a military technician for the 3-330 infantry regiment as the Army Reserve administrator. In years prior, Brandy has served veterans and military families working as a customer support coordinator for Army Reserve Family Programs and is proud to have served the West Michigan Region and the West Michigan Veterans Coalition in her role as regional coordinator.
Brandy currently serves in the Army Reserve as a captain and company commander for Fox Company/3-330 infantry regiment. She earned a bachelor’s degree in family studies and a master’s degree in family and consumer sciences from Western Michigan University. She also commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Quartermaster Corps through Western Michigan University ROTC while earning her master’s degree.
Brandy lives in Lake Odessa with the loves of her life: her two children, Kylie (16) and Bryson (13). Brandy loves all kinds of adventures with her children, being a proud sports mom, and spending time with family and friends.
