Pick Your Time Slot: We kindly ask all attendees to sign up for a timed
entry slot. This adjustment is designed to significantly reduce wait times
and congestion, ensuring that every veteran has better access to meet
with all the representatives and utilize the resources offered.

 
Representatives will be onsite to serve all Veterans and their families with these resources:
    • Oakland County Veterans’ Services: Providing information and claims
assistance regarding Veteran benefits and giving away Meijer vouchers—
to be eligible you must be a Veteran and Oakland County resident, and
you must present a copy of your DD214.
    • Oakland County Michigan Works!: Providing Veterans and their families
with career planning, training programs, job search resources and the
opportunity to meet with an employment specialist.
    • Oakland County Neighborhood & Housing Development: Helping
residents with housing counseling.
    • Oakland County Parks & Recreation: Providing information about
recreation opportunities at county parks.
    • Oakland County Health Department: Providing adult vaccines to
insured and uninsured alike. Please bring your health insurance card if
you have insurance.
    • Oakland Community Health Network: Addressing any behavioral health
issues and concerns, including behavioral health needs for children.
    • Oakland Thrive: Providing entrepreneurial workshops.
    • VA Suicide Prevention: Providing free gun locks.
    • VA Great Lakes National Cemetery: Providing information on burial benefits.
    • Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency.
    • Ride SMART: Providing information on their Veteran transportation program.
    • DTE Energy: Offering help with utilities.
