Child Development And Care Limits on Total Hours of Care

The total number of hours of care for which providers can be paid in a biweekly pay period are limited to:

  • License exempt child care providers - 2,016 hours per pay period.
  • Family child care homes - 2,016 hours per pay period.
  • Group child care homes - 4,032 hours per pay period.
  • Child care centers - no limit.

Child Development and Care payments cannot be made for any hours of care that exceed the limit.
