Advance Michigan: Reframing the Value of Higher Education Grant
This grant funding supports non-profit organizations in implementing projects that communicate the comprehensive benefits of higher education and test new methods of reaching potential students and their families.
Eligible Applicants
- Non-profit organizations (exclusive of institutions of higher education, including colleges and universities)
Grant Award Amount and Timeline
- Up to $250,000 to support activities that expand individual, family, and community understanding of the benefits of attending college or pursuing a valuable postsecondary credential.
- Grant cycle of 12-18 months
- Tentative start date of July 1, 2026
Application Window
- Advance Michigan: Reframing the Value of Higher Education Grant Applications are due on Friday, May 8, 2026 at 3:00 p.m.
- The Advance Michigan: Reframing the Value of Higher Education Grant Application document must be used to apply.
- The narrative portion of the application, which includes the cover page through the proposal description responses, should be 20 pages or less.
- Advance Michigan: Reframing the Value of Higher Education Grant Applications must be submitted via email using the Application document to MiLEAP-OHE-GrantsApply@michigan.gov.
