MVAA hosts 6th annual Veterans Day Recognition Ceremony at Capitol

LANSING, Mich. - On Wednesday, Nov. 12, the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency (MVAA) honored Michigan's more than 486,000 veterans at the 6th annual Veterans Day Recognition Ceremony at the State Capital. Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Paul D. Rogers, adjutant general and director of the Michigan Department of Military and Veterans Affairs and Brian L. Love, director of the MVAA also pinned six Vietnam War-era veterans and one World War II veteran for their service to a grateful nation.
