Registration open for MVAAs Michigan Women Veterans Conference
February 05, 2026

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Registration for the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency's (MVAA) fourth Michigan Women Veterans Conference Apr. 9-11, 2026, in Grand Rapids, is open. This premier event for women veterans is dedicated to honoring their service, fostering meaningful connections and empowering them for their future.
"The experiences of Michigan's more than 44,000 women veterans are distinct and deserving of recognition," said Erika Hoover, MVAA mental health and suicide prevention manager. "It's because of these different experiences that we must honor their service, share their stories and provide support for their unique needs.
This conference theme is Sisters in Service: Thriving Beyond the Uniform. Throughout the three-day event, attendees will explore their shared history while cultivating personal growth and strengthening connections to help women veterans thrive in both their personal and professional lives.
Sponsorship opportunities for the conference will impact the lives of Michigan's women veterans. For more information on becoming an event sponsor, review the sponsorship packet. Swag bags will be provided to conference attendees. Organizations wishing to provide items to include in bags will need to provide 200 items by COB Monday, March 16. To become a sponsor or donate items, contact Erika Hoover at HooverE2@Michigan.gov.
