If you are experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless, HELP IS AVAILABLE.

MSHDA funds local service agencies to support emergency shelter and rental assistance in all of Michigan's 83 counties. Housing Assessment and Resource Agency (HARA)

Individual housing needs assessments and service referrals are done through a single, centralized Housing Assessment and Resource Agency (HARA) in every community. Each HARA has a Housing Resource Specialist that works with individuals to gather information to determine both need and eligibility and then connect them to services, as appropriate. To locate your local HARA, please click the HARA link above.

If you are experiencing a housing crisis and in need of assistance, we recommend calling *211 or visiting their website to obtain assistance with locating shelter, affordable housing, and limited rent and utility assistance. For more information, please click the 2-1-1 link above.
