Performance Based Contract Administration

Since June 2000, the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) has served as the Contract Administrator for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) project-based Section 8 portfolio in Michigan. MSHDA and its subcontractors, the Michigan Multi-family Asset Managers (MMAM) and EPS, Inc., perform contract administration services as described in the Annual Contributions Contract (ACC) with HUD. Our goal is to assure that contract administered project based Section 8 properties continue to meet HUD's goal of providing decent, safe, and sanitary housing to low-income families.
