Applications open for Statewide Veteran Service Provision Grant
April 06, 2022
The Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency (MVAA) is now accepting applications for the Statewide Veteran Service Provision Grant (SVSPG) for fiscal year 2023.
The MVAA is anticipating the availability of $4,250,000 in grant funding. The purpose of the FY23 SVSPG is to increase the number of regional veteran applications submitted for service-connected disability compensation, the number of U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (USDVA) health care enrollment applications and the number of all other claims, in order to elevate Michigan into the top one-third of states with veterans receiving USDVA benefits.
Interested applicants MUST submit the Letter of Intent to Apply to be eligible to apply for the FY23 SVSPG funding. The letter does not bind an organization to any legal contract or obligation to apply but must be submitted in order to establish an organization as an eligible grant recipient.
Letters of Intent must be received at MVAAGrants@michigan.gov no later than 5:00 p.m. EST on Friday, April 29, 2022. Here is the full timeline of the grant
We look forward to receiving your Letter of Intent to Apply. Feel free to send any questions to MVAAGrants@michigan.gov.
