MVAA hosts Veterans Day Recognition Ceremony on Nov 9

The Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency will host a Veterans Day Recognition Ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 9, in State Room North of Heritage Hall at the state Capitol complex.

Join new MVAA Director Brian L. Love, a Marine veteran, along with state Sen. Rick Outman, an Army veteran, and other state leaders and veteran advocates as they recognize our former service members.

The event runs from 9:30-10 a.m. and will include the Posting of the Colors, singing of the National Anthem by 1st Sgt. Chris Arganbright of the Michigan National Guard and a special pinning for Vietnam veterans. Light refreshments will be provided, and attendees are welcome to stay after to visit with Director Love and other veterans in attendance.

Heritage Hall is located at 323 W. Ottawa St. in Lansing.
