Rebekah Snyder Cox

Rebekah Snyder Cox began her career in Victim Advocacy at a community-based agency in Providence, Rhode Island reporting to hospitals around-the-clock. She accompanied victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, and human trafficking seeking medical treatment and filing reports with law enforcement. During her time, she received Special Congressional Recognition for her work developing a state-wide resource guide for survivors of sexual assault.
She then continued her experience by working in Title IX at Bates College in Maine, helping victims of relationship violence and sexual assault through available resources on campus before she joined the Michigan Department of Attorney General in 2017. She now manages the Victim Rights Victim Services Division where she has overseen the expansion of the victim advocates and victim services six-fold. She has worked on a variety of initiatives such as the Larry Nassar prosecution, Michigan State University investigation, Clergy Abuse investigation, and countless other cases and initiatives at the department.
She has been invited to present around the country on a variety of advocacy topics including the National Association of Attorneys General, US National Guard Bureau, Maine’s Department of Attorney General, and multiple Colleges and Universities. She holds a master’s degree in forensic psychology from Roger Williams University.
