LANSING – Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel issued the following statement after receiving an opinion request from Gov. Gretchen Whitmer regarding the legality of the Environmental Rules Review Committee and Environmental Permit Review Commission.
“We will carefully evaluate this request and encourage all interested persons to submit written comments on this issue to us at miag@mi.gov, ATT: Opinions Division, no later than February 27, 2019 so that we may include them in our considerations.”
