ACP Social Media Kit

How to Use the ACP Social Media Kit

Thank you for helping us spread the word about Michigan’s Address Confidentiality Program (ACP)!

We created these social media graphics to make it easy for community organizations, advocates, service providers and others to share information about ACP with the people who may benefit from it.

Download and Share

All of the graphics below are available to download and share on your organization’s social media channels. Each graphic is designed to stand alone, so it can be shared independently without additional explanation.

You are welcome to:

  • Download and share the graphics on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X and other social media platforms.
  • Share the graphics through newsletters, websites and other digital communications.
  • Share individual graphics that are most relevant to your audience.
  • Share the graphics more than once throughout the year, particularly during relevant awareness months.
  • Encourage your partners and community members to share them, too.

Help People Find the ACP

  • When sharing an ACP graphic, we encourage you to include a link to: mi.gov/agacp
  • You can also direct people to the ACP by phone: 313-456-0190
  • For graphics that include a specific call to action, we recommend keeping the language and information on the graphic intact.

You Can Add Your Own Caption

The graphics are designed to work with or without a caption.

If you'd like to add context, consider explaining why ACP information is relevant to your community or encouraging people to share the resource with someone who may need it.

Sample Caption

Do you or someone you know have concerns about keeping a residential address confidential? Michigan’s Address Confidentiality Program may be able to help eligible individuals who fear threats or harm.

Learn more about the ACP at mi.gov/agacp or call 313-456-0190.

You are welcome to adapt the caption to fit your organization's voice and audience.

A Few Things to Keep in Mind

Please do not alter the key information on the graphics. This includes the ACP name, website, phone number and program descriptions.

Please also avoid adding language that suggests ACP:

  • Guarantees someone's safety
  • Makes it impossible for someone to be found
  • Provides witness protection
  • Guarantees that an individual's address will never be disclosed under any circumstances

The ACP helps eligible participants take steps to keep their address confidential. It is not a witness protection program.

Share With Your Community

ACP information may be particularly helpful to:

  • Victim advocates and service providers
  • Domestic violence organizations
  • Sexual assault service providers
  • Human trafficking organizations
  • Stalking prevention organizations
  • Community and nonprofit organizations
  • Tribal organizations and service providers
  • Health care providers
  • Local governments and community partners

If you work with people who may benefit from address confidentiality, please consider sharing these resources with them.
