LANSING – Today, Andrew Olnhausen, 39, of Texas, was sentenced by Judge Michael Olsaver of the 39th Circuit Court to 22 years 2 months to 60 years’ incarceration after being convicted by a Lenawee County jury of multiple felony counts relating to criminal sexual conduct, announced Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel. Olnhausen was found guilty in July 2025 of:
- Four counts of First-Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct;
- Three counts of Second-Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct;
- One count of Children – Accosting for Immoral Purpose;
- Five counts of Child Sexually Abusive Material – Possession;

- One count of Distributing Sexual Material to a Minor; and
- One count of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.
“Survivors of sexual assault deserve to see their abusers brought to justice, no matter how long it takes,” said Attorney General Nessel. “Cases like this are never easy, and they require extraordinary strength from victims. I am grateful to the courageous survivor who came forward, and I commend the prosecutors in my office and the Adrian Police Department for their efforts to secure this significant sentence. We remain committed to standing with sexual assault victims and holding abusers accountable.”
Olnhausen was a youth soccer coach with Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He had an abusive sexual relationship with a soccer player that started in 2016 when the victim was 12 years old and continued until the victim was approximately 16 years old.
The charges against Olnhausen are the result of an investigation by the Adrian Police Department. Olnhausen was extradited back to Michigan from Texas to face these charges in 2022.
Olnhausen’s sentence also includes an order for lifetime registration with the Sex Offender Registry and lifetime electronic monitoring.
