Ana Navarro to Kick Off 2024 Building Michigan Communities Conference
Prominent strategist, analyst and ‘The View’ co-host to deliver remarks at two-day,
25th anniversary event in Lansing
LANSING, Mich. – The Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) will welcome Ana Navarro, prominent political strategist and commentator, to deliver the opening keynote address during the Building Michigan Communities Conference in May.
“We look forward to welcoming Ana Navarro to our 25th anniversary conference,” said MSHDA Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director Amy Hovey. “She is at the leading edge of national issues that are most important, and we can’t wait to hear from her about the essential role quality affordable and attainable housing plays in issues facing our state and nation.”
Navarro is a well-known Republican strategist, political analyst for CNN, CNN en Español, and Telemundo, and co-host and political contributor on ABC’s “The View.”
“Michigan has such an outsized role in the national conversation, and the state is leading the way in innovating to address the American housing affordability crisis,” said Ana Navarro. “I’m anxious to hear firsthand all of the work being done by state and local leaders to provide quality and affordable housing options for families all over Michigan.”
The Building Michigan Communities Conference offers two days of engaging speakers and content, professional development, and networking opportunities for the more than 1,000 attendees. The event attracts housing industry professionals, government leaders, elected officials and staff, housing service providers and advocates from all over Michigan and the Midwest. Following Navarro’s Tuesday morning talk, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in dozens of sessions at the Lansing Center.
Sponsorships are still available, and registration is now open at buildingmicommunities.org.
