Student Intern & Externships
As the largest public law firm in the state, this Department has a long history of providing both law interns/externs with a meaningful environment in which to learn about the practice of law.
Over the years, this relationship has proven beneficial to both students and this office, in terms of providing students with real-world opportunities to increase their knowledge of the law, while at the same time allowing this office to give back to the academic community by training the next generation of lawyers/civil servants in the finest traditions of the law.
The Department is actively committed to its law and non-law student intern/extern programs.
Application Process
Applications are accepted year-round with assignments beginning in August, January, and May, corresponding with the school semester calendar. Email the application and required documents all together in a single PDF attachment to the Training & Student Coordinator. Once received, applications are posted internally. The Divisions directly contact students they select to interview. Not all students submitting materials will be contacted, nor are students guaranteed a placement.
