Emergency Assistance for Energy Draft Recipients
Emergency assistance for the repair or replacement of a non-functioning furnace is available to low income households through the State Emergency Relief (SER) program. State Emergency Relief (SER) is a crisis intervention program that provides assistance for energy-related expenses such as heating fuel, electricity and home repairs.
Households must provide at least one estimate for the cost of repair or replacement from a licensed contractor.

- Eligibility must be determined before any payment will be disbursed. The lifetime maximum for energy-related home repairs is $4,000
