Hearings Taxpayer Portal Instructions
The Treasury Hearings Taxpayer Portal is for use in the Informal Conference or Hearings process only.
You must have an active MILogin account to access the Michigan Department of Treasury Hearings Division Taxpayer Portal. You may sign up for an account by accessing one of the following sites and selecting the “sign up” option and filling in the required information.

User Access
Once you have an active MILogin account, you may request access to the Hearings Division Taxpayer Portal using the “Request Access” tab, select Michigan Department of Treasury in the “Select Agency” section, and select the “Hearings Division Taxpayer Portal” application. Afterward, you will be asked several questions to validate your identity. Once your identity has been validated, the Hearings Division will be notified of your request to access the portal.
Business Taxpayers and Authorized Representatives will additionally receive a follow-up email requesting further information to complete user access set up.
Once access has been granted, you will receive an email indicating that your access to the portal has been set up and will route you back to MILogin to access the Hearings Taxpayer Portal to view your account. Please allow at least one business day for access to be granted.
Note
DO NOT SUBMIT A REQUEST FOR INFORMAL CONFERENCE FOR PRINCIPAL RESIDENCE EXEMPTION (PRE) CASES THROUGH THE TAXPAYER PORTAL.
