I established a User ID in MBOS but it is not working in the enhanced MTO. What happened?

The reason you are unable to log-in to MTO may be for one of the two following reasons:

  • Failure to authenticate to MTO from MBOS – if you created a User ID in MBOS prior to January 8, 2016 but never added and accessed MTO from “My Workspace”, your profile was not converted to the upgraded version of MTO. If you receive error code “2005” upon attempting to log-in to the upgraded MTO, you will need to create a new user profile and re-establish any previous business relationships.    
  • Technical difficulties – a small population of user ids were not converted properly to the upgraded version of MTO. If you receive error code “2005” upon attempting to log-in to the upgraded MTO, you will need to create a new user profile and re-establish any previous business relationships.

 

Is an access code required?

The first time you establish a business relationship, you will be emailed an access code. Previous MTO users will not need an access code.

 

Do I have to obtain a different access code every time I log into MTO?

No. You will only be required to enter an access code when you are establishing the first business relationship on your homepage.

 

What do I do if I do not receive an access code or my access code does not work?

If you did not receive an access code or the access code does not work, you can select the link on the MTO Access Code screen to request/resend a new access code.

Access codes are only valid for 5 minutes. Requesting a new access code voids all previous access codes.

How many attempts do I have before being locked out of MTO?

Upon log-in, if you have attempted the incorrect password three times, you will be locked out for 60 minutes.

When answering shared secrets, if you have answered incorrectly three times, the FEIN will be locked for 60 minutes.
