Request an FTS Account
Allow 5 - 7 business days to receive your FTS username and password via email.
Submit a Test File
Use the FTS website to submit a test file containing:
- 50 non-encrypted detailed records with mock Social Security Numbers
- Transmittal for Electronic Service of Writs of Garnishment for Income Tax Refund/Credit (Form 2142)
Approval
Once you receive an approval email from the Third Party Withholding Unit, you’re officially authorized to file electronically through the FTS site.
