Submit a Test File

Use the FTS website to submit a test file containing:

  • 50 non-encrypted detailed records with mock Social Security Numbers
  • Transmittal for Electronic Service of Writs of Garnishment for Income Tax Refund/Credit (Form 2142)

Approval

Once you receive an approval email from the Third Party Withholding Unit, you’re officially authorized to file electronically through the FTS site.
