Note: For joint filers, the age of the oldest spouse determines the age category

Recipients born between January 1, 1946 and January 2, 1956 who receive pension or retirement benefits from employment with a governmental agency that was not covered by the federal SSA are entitled to a greater retirement/pension deduction.
Please note that SSA exempt benefits are public benefits.
