The Office of the Taxpayer Advocate is a resource of last resort.  We assist individual taxpayers by reviewing account specific issues that have not been resolved through Treasury’s normal channels of resolution.  helps taxpayers and tax professionals that have been unable to resolve a state tax issue.  Only use the following form if you have already tried to resolve your issue by contacting the Individual Income Tax Call Center at 517-636-4486 using Treasury’s normal channels and still need assistance.
