Treasury auditors are expected to provide:
- Prompt, fair, and courteous service
- Confidentiality.
Taxpayers have a responsibility to:
- File returns on time with the correct payment (if necessary).
- Make sure returns are correct, regardless of who prepares them.
- Provide documentation as requested to complete an audit or review.
